The alloys known as Incoloy are members of the Inconel family. It indicates that the alloy may be used successfully in high temperatures. Oxidation is an issue that can arise with some grades of stainless steel when they are subjected to elevated temperatures. Because of the chemical makeup of Incoloy 800 fasteners, they can utilize in environments with higher temperatures. The higher the carbon level, the greater the likelihood that they will be able to tolerate the higher temperatures. As a result, manufacturers create alloys derived from UNS N08800 bolts. These alloys are designated as Alloy 800H and Alloy 800HT, and their chemical compositions differ very slightly.
